Dawesville is a town in Western Australia, located on the Peel Inlet. The town is named after Louis Dawe, who was involved in the local fish canning industry in the early 1900s. In 1913, Dawe built the heritage-listed “Allandale Homestead”, which overlooks the estuary. The homestead is now used as a bed and breakfast, and is open to the public for tours. Dawesville is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and bird watching. The town has several parks and reserves, as well as a golf course and tennis courts. There are also several cafes and restaurants, as well as a supermarket and several boutique shops.
